Meet Dr. Dre Domingue

Andrea D. Domingue, Ed.D (she/her/hers)  is a collaborative, people-centered, and inquisitive leader committed to holistic approaches to learning. She is known for fostering environments where individuals can show up authentically and remain open to growth and change. Grounded in equity-minded practice, Dr. Domingue delivers strategic, efficient, and manageable implementation results across organizational contexts.

Dr. Domingue brings nearly two decades of experience across functional areas in higher education—including residence life, identity-based centers, and institutional leadership at both large public universities and small liberal arts colleges. Dre earned her Ed.D. in Student Development with a concentration in Social Justice Education (2014) and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Feminist Studies (2013) from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She also holds a M.A. in Higher Education Administration (2005) from New York University and a B.A. in Sociology and Mathematics (2003) from the University of Texas at Austin.

A scholar-practitioner, Dre teaches graduate courses on critical pedagogy, college student development and assessment at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. She is co-editor of Black Women and Social Justice Education: Legacies and Lessons (SUNY Press) and co-author of ACPA’s “A Bold Vision Forward: A Framework for the Strategic Imperative for Racial Justice and Decolonization.” Dr. Domingue has also held key leadership roles in national associations, including serving as Co-Chair for the Consortium of Higher Education Resource Professionals (2006–2009) and President of ACPA–College Student Educators International (2021–2024).
