Reduce anxiety, stress and exhaustion
Explore habits and behaviors that may impact motivation
Shift mindset to enhance confidence and focus—limiting imposter syndrome, perfectionism and inner critic
Explore ways to improve communication and strength relationships with advisor
Gain clarity on career options after finishing your degree

Consulting is when one offers content or technical expertise in a subject area. In the scope of doctoral work that can include:
Recommendations on literature
Transcription of interviews/focus groups
Data analysis
Feedback on written work
Editing or formatting written work
Preparing or proposal or defense
Mentoring implies a dynamic where one with experience, knowledge or a network offers advice, guidance and sometimes access to people or resources for academic or professional advancement.
Therapy is when a trained and licensed professional focuses on emotional wellbeing and treatment of mental health.
While doctoral students can certainly benefit from each of these areas, this is not coaching or services I provide.

After the complimentary discovery call, clients will begin with six 1-hour sessions, weekly or biweekly. Early sessions will focus on learning about a clients background, current challenges and goal setting. Later sessions focus on refining goals and developing strategies for consistency and sustainability.
At the conclusion of each setting, clients leave with a summary of insights and action steps to practice towards their goals. Between sessions, clients will receive encouragement and support through email and text.
-
New clients receive a complimentary, no cost 30 minute coaching session to assess fit and needs.
I offer coaching as six 1-hour session packages for doctoral students at a discounted price. For those navigating financial limitations such as underemployment and unemployment, I offer a limited number of “pay what you can” client spots.
